Why doesn't my portrait session include a CD with high-resolution images?
We subscribed to that business model for a number of years. However, in our experience, most clients typically print few, if any, images that require large, high-resolution files. Most photos are shared and enjoyed on social media, printed in smaller formats and eventually filed away. For those few portraits that are destined to grace your wall or fireplace mantle - your investment in professional imagery deserves professional prints that are color-correct and archival.
Am I required to purchase prints?

Absolutely not! We've attempted to create sessions with every budget in mind. In fact, many of our portrait sessions include a print credit in the creative fee so you only pay for extra prints if you want them. As a standard service, we also provide digital downloads of your final retouched selections including a release to make small prints up to 4"x 6".

Can I get rights to high-resolution digital files?

Yes, there are two ways:

1) Any images included as part of a print package are made available as a separate high-resolution download upon completion of the order.

2) For instances where print packages are not ordered, the rate for individual images is $50 each.

*The exception is wedding packages which are priced to include high-resolution digital images.

Do you offer mini-sessions?
No… and Yes! We currently do not offer a basic mini-session rate as part of our standard photography services. However, several times throughout the year we may offer special promotions. For first shot at these limited mini-sessions, we suggest liking our page on Facebook/Instagram, or contacting us to pre-book your spot. (Booking fee applies).
When I download my final images from the gallery will they have a watermark?
No. The watermarks are removed when you download the retouched digitals photos from your gallery. If you find this isn't the case, please contact us and we'll adjust the gallery settings.
What forms of payment do you accept?

Whether you're paying session fees or purchasing prints - on location or online - we're equipped to accept cash, checks, debit/credit cards and Paypal. Please note that sales tax applies to all transactions.

Checks should be made payable to Studio 35 Photography.

What are your booking and cancellation policies?
All sessions require a booking fee. The rate varies depending on the type of shoot. Any applicable location fees are included in the booking session fee. Please contact us for specifics. Booking fees are non-refundable. However, we will work with you to find a replacement date or offer a credit should it be necessary to reschedule or postpone your session indefinitely.

Can I order more images and prints from my session at a later date?

Absolutely! There is never a deadline to purchase images/prints and we never delete them. However, we do archive all images in offline storage on January 1 each year. So, any orders placed after that date from the previous year will require a $30 fee to re-import and re-upload to an online gallery.
